Individual Feldenkrais integration lessons

Functional Integration (FI) is a hands-on technique for individuals who prefer or require more individualized attention. Although it possesses significant medical and therapeutic benefits, Functional Integration is neither medical nor therapeutic in its philosophy and technique; it is learning-based and primarily nonverbal.

Benefits are achieved by enhancing the efficiency, coordination, and grace of an individual’s posture and movement.Lessons can be done with the student lying on a firm but comfortable work table, standing, or sitting. The practitioner gently touches or moves the student in a wide variety of ways to facilitate awareness, learning, and vitality.

Gradually the student is led to organize new movement patterns through both conscious and subconscious learning.

Intensive Individual sessions for children with special needs can be done daily or twice daily.

Testimonial by Ashley ~

After our first appointment with Donna, we felt immense relief and excitement. Our son connected with Donna immediately. She has a special gift of making children and parents feel comfortable during the therapy session. Instead of forcing our son to do certain things, she followed his natural rhythms and enhanced his whole body movement. Since we started seeing Donna eight months ago, our son has gone from barely being able to crawl to taking steps independently. He is so thrilled with his new movement abilities, and we are overjoyed to see him so happy and confident! Donna has truly given us the ultimate gift, and we are so grateful to her! We look forward to seeing her every week and love observing his smooth, seamless movements after each session. We are beyond grateful to have discovered Donna and the Feldenkrais method!

Feldenkrais is not just pushing muscles around, but changing things in the brain itself.
